The Payroll & Accounting Clerk is an integral member of our streamlined and reliable payroll and accounting department. Overall, this individual is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of tasks and obtaining manager approvals needed to process payroll. The responsibilities of the Payroll & Accounting Clerk include, but are not limited to: examining and analyzing daily timekeeping records and supporting documentation; auditing daily payroll activity prior to upload from ADP Timesaver into Dynamics GP accounting & payroll system; inspecting, verifying employee profiles, reconciling entries, as well as, producing and reviewing periodic and ad-hoc reports; acting as primary liaison with human resources, departmental managers, and staff members for payroll and payroll related queries; printing payroll checks and generate direct deposit files; provide general accounting and accounts payable support functions as required and time allows; Payroll and/or accounting background experience preferred. Experience and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office. Full time position starting November 1 to late-April. Days off are flexible depending on Accounting’s shared schedule. Availability is crucial during peak holiday periods.
Ensuring our guests have a memorable experience goes hand in hand with their safety. Executing the safe, efficient and courteous loading and unloading of skiers and riders is essential to this position. The position also requires shoveling and maintaining safe levels of snow throughout the entire lift station area. It is also of great importance to interact with guests to ensure a positive experience, promote safety in the workplace and maintain clean and neat work stations. Must be willing to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
Our guests value our service and ensuring their satisfaction is our goal. As a Cashier you will be responsible for providing friendly service to guests while handling purchases, accepting payment and making change. In addition, your responsibilities include: moving guests through the cash register area in a quick and efficient manner; accurate handling and counting of cash; maintaining cleanliness of cashier area; and resolving and assisting guests with any quests.
Cashiers must also have the flexibility of rotating posts to other cashiering departments as assigned. Must have flexibility to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
Terrain Park Attendant:
Terrain Park Staff is responsible for help in building, and maintain all terrain park elements and terrain based learning areas. Duties include, but are not limited to: Park building, daily maintenance, feature testing/inspecting, daily forms, signage, fencing and teaching park safety to guests. Park staff will report to Terrain park manager and works closely with Ski Patrol to ensure guest safety. Essential functions of this job include: lifting up to 75 pounds, comfortably, working outside during all weather conditions, standing, hiking in variable conditions, kneeling, squatting and ability to operate tools and power tools.
Ski, Snowboard & Nordic Instructors (Non-certified or PSIA/AASI certified) – If you have a friendly, caring, compassionate personality, the knack for snowsports and have the ability to teach your skills to others, WE WANT YOU as an instructor! Our instructors provide quality ski lessons in a safe and fun manner in both group and private lessons to children and adults of varying ability levels. You must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season and be an intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder.
Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for expert skiers and snowboarders who have a passion for the outdoors to join our team. Applicants must have a current OEC or EMT certification/license before the start of the season, which is November 18, 2016. Our Ski Patrollers work on the mountain every day and use a wide range of skills such as: promoting safety, snow safety work, lift evacuations and assisting injured guests. Employees of Eldora Mountain Resort are eligible for a free season pass as well as the ability to ski free at 14 other Colorado resorts. Position starts November 5, 2016 and ends in mid-April.
Eldora Base Area Maintenance Technician:
This position works with Base Operations department to ensure functionality and maintenance of company facilities. The right candidate must have prior Building Maintenance experience with knowledge in framing and finish carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical, drywall repair and basic commercial kitchen appliance repair. HVAC knowledge a plus, but not required. The essential job duties are: perform general maintenance; minor plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, and painting, perform basic carpentry framing and finish work for interior and exterior projects, maintain equipment and tools as needed, work on projects as the need arises, maintain a safe work environment, must be able to lift 75 lbs, ability to work from a ladder, able to climb stairs and ladders and move about all areas of the buildings easily, able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including extreme cold and snowy conditions. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to work holidays and weekends.
Help to ensure our guests are well-nourished during their time at Eldora! This position is an entry level cooking position requiring a positive work ethic. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: understanding the importance of standards, speed and quality; practicing good personal hygiene, safe food handling and culinary skills and performing basic cooking tasks for the cafeteria. Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.

The Ride with Woodward coaches are responsible for supporting the brand experience by making sure all goals of Woodward programming, safety, and customer services expectations are being met during day and holiday camp sessions. This includes providing excellent customer service, exceeding our guest’s expectations, and enhancing their action sports learning experience in an atmosphere of safety, fun, and progression. Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for hardworking individuals who have a passion for the outdoors and an adventure lifestyle to join our elite Snowmaking Team. Our Snowmakers work on the mountain, around the clock in all weather conditions to produce the highest quality snow-surfaces for our guests.
Tasks of this position include: operation of snow guns, keeping equipment clear of snow and moving equipment from trail to trail. Applicants must have the ability to safely lift, drag and/or pull over 75 lbs on a regular basis. Valid driver’s license required to operate snowmobiles. Previous experience a plus. Wage TBD.
First impressions are essential for ensuring our guests have a memorable and unforgettable experience. Having a clean, snow free parking lot is key for our guests’ first impression. We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to accomplish this. Ideal candidates will have experience safely operating 936 loader (or similar) and a dump style truck with a blade attachment. Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays, as well as late nights/early mornings in adverse conditions during ski season.
Base Operations Staff:
This position is an excellent avenue for getting to learn about the resort’s day to day operations. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: guiding guests to their appropriate parking spots; cleaning common areas (tables, floor and restrooms); keeping outdoor walkways and entrances clear of snow by shoveling or using a snow blower; driving a bus to shuttle resort guests (commercial driver license not necessary). Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
