Thank you for your interest in Eldora Mountain Resort. We hope that the following
information we have assembled will aid in your most important task of planning
a memorable event.
You may only recognize us as a ski area, but we are pleased to offer our Indian
Peaks Lodge for your special event. It defines Rocky Mountain elegance with
elk chandeliers, alpine log accents, and walls of windows which frame spectacular
mountain views.
Located only 21 miles from Boulder and 47 miles from Denver, we are surrounded
with majestic scenery in a natural mountain meadow. With over 5,000 square feet
in the main seating area and plenty of room for dancing , this spacious party
room is the perfect place to hold an afternoon or evening celebration. The outdoor
area with a manicured lawn is perfect for ceremonies and extended wedding festivities.
We have separate areas available for use by the Bride and Groom as well as their
wedding party.
Eldora Mountain Resort is a great location for mountain events that have the
true Colorado Rocky Mountain flair.

Booking
Upon deciding that Eldora Mountain Resort is where you would like to have your event, you may request a date and time for fourteen days without obligation. Contact us at 303.440.8700 between 8am and 4pm Monday through Friday and request Banquet Booking. We will send you a contract at that time which must be returned within two weeks with a $500 deposit. If, during your fourteen day pencil in period, another client requests the same date and time, you will be given 24 hours to book or release your date and time. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks and cash as forms of payment.
The $500 deposit is a security/damage deposit. It will be refunded to you within thirty (30) days of the event at the discretion of the site supervisor. If the site supervisor deems repairs will be necessary, you will be refunded the amount remaining upon completion of said repairs. Please be aware that as the host of an event at Eldora Mountain Resort you are responsible for any damage created by your guests, caterer or any professional staff that assists you with your event. Your liability for damages is in no way limited to the amount of your damage deposit.
All fees are due in full six months prior to your event. If you have booked with less than six months notice then all fees will be due upon signing of the contract.
Changes
Should you need to change the date or time, after your one week grace period, there is a $100 re-booking fee. The new date and time will be subject to availability and the current pricing in effect.
Cancellations
The deposit is non-refundable. All cancellations must be in writing via certified mail. Cancellations with 90 or more days notice will receive a 50% refund of facility fees. If we are able to re-book the date and time, you will receive an additional 25% refund (75% total) of facility fees. Cancellations with less than 90 days notice are non-refundable unless we are able to re-book the date and time. If we are able to re-book the date and time, then you will receive a 50% refund of your facility fees.
Walk throughs & Rehearsals
We will accommodate your needs based on the availability of the area. Please try to schedule your walk through no later than the two weeks prior to your event. Rehearsals must be pre-arranged with our staff.
Your event at Eldora Mountain Resort includes access to:

30 Banquet tables
Seating for up to 225 guests.
Basic dish service for up to 225 guests.
Site Supervisor
Table linens are not provided and if you need more
place settings, please coordinate with your caterer.
For an additional $500 rental fee a 20 x 20 dance floor is available.

*Due to Liquor License regulations Eldora Mountain Resort must provide and serve the liquor during winter events.
Preferred Caterers
We strongly urge you to consider the caterers who are on our preferred list. They have worked hard to pass our standards and are very familiar with our facilities. If you are considering using a non-approved caterer or self catered event you will be charged an additional $500 fee.

Decorations
The following guidelines are to be followed when decorating for your event.
Indoors
- No glitter, confetti or silly string.
- Only use masking tape to hang/post things.
- Candles should be encircled in glass.
- Balloons on strings are permissible, however renters may be subject to a charge up to $5 for each balloon we have to remove from the vaulted ceiling.
Outdoors
- Birdseed, bubbles and butterflies are acceptable.
- No rice.
- No Fireworks or open flames.
- Balloons released outdoors should not have any strings attached and should be released away from trees.
- No glitter, confetti or silly string.
Alcoholic Beverages
Renter will comply with all pertinent laws, statutes, ordinances, and governmental and quasi governmental regulations including, without limitations, all laws, statutes and regulations pertaining to liquor.
Eldora Mountain Resort does not hold a liquor license during the summer. This allows you to bring in your own liquor to be served by a bartender. The caterer or yourself must carry Host Liquor Liability Insurance naming Eldora Mountain Resort as an additonal named insured and will provide a certificate of insurance as evidence of insurance to Eldora Mountain Resort. We recommend you have "last call" one hour before the end of your event as you must close the bar thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled end of the event.
During winter events, Eldora Mountain Resort must provide and serve all liquor. We can price open bar or cash bar options as needed.
We reserve the right to close the bar at any time during events if necessary, and/or refuse service to any individual guest. Guests should only be served one drink at a time and it is the bartender's responsibility to I.D. guests to ensure no underage drinking is occurring. Illegal or controlled substances are prohibited.
Caterers
The renter must use a licensed caterer. Use of caterers not on the preferred list will add $500 to the facility fee. Non-preferred caterers must meet with site supervisor at least four (4) weeks prior to the event to familiarize themselves with our facilities. All caterers must set up, break down and clean up. All caterers must have a signed copy of "Caterer/Vendor Guidelines" on file at Eldora Mountain Resort.
Caterers may bring food prepared, or ready to finish at the site, but may not prepare raw product in the staging area. There is not a prep sink available. The staging area does include:
- Convection oven
- Dishwasher
- Steam Table
- Upright Refrigerator
- Ice Machine
- Coffee Service
Deliveries should be made during your set-up time.
Site Supervisor
The site supervisor is an employee of Eldora Mountain Resort who is responsible for the safety of the site, its guests and for enforcing policies. It is not the responsibility of the site supervisor to set up, serve, break down or clean up. They will answer any questions and help to solve any problems that may arise.
Parking
Eldora Mountain Resort has plenty of private parking available for your guests. Valet parking services may be contracted at your expense.
Directions
Take the Boulder Turnpike (Hwy. 36) north into Boulder. Go west on Canyon Blvd. This turns into Hwy. 119 and leads you straight into Nederland. Follow signs in Nederland to Eldora Mountain Resort.
Seating Capacity
Total seating capacity is 225 guests. This would include a configuration of both round and banquet tables.
Safety, Conduct & Violations
In this mountainous environment, it is your responsibility to inform guests that caution is necessary and children are to be supervised at all times on the property. Your guests need to be aware of the dangers of a wildlife habitat.
Smoking is only permitted outside on the north facing (entrance) patio. This is subject to change during a fire ban where absolutely no smoking is allowed.
The conduct of guests at Eldora Mountain Resort is the responsibility of the renter. The site supervisor has the authority to ask disorderly guests to leave and to notify the police.
The use of Eldora's facilities may be terminated at any time by the site supervisor if the policies are intentionally violated or if any guest's conduct becomes abusive or dangerous to the site, its furnishings, or any individual therein. Should this action be deemed necessary, the damage deposit will be forfeited as well as the rental fee.
Wheelchair Accessibility
Eldora Mountain Resort is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. There is an elevator available in the lobby as well as handicapped accessible restrooms upstairs.
Exceptions to Guidelines
Exceptions to any of Eldora's guidelines must be requested in writing by the renter and approved in writing by Eldora Mountain Resort.
