Group Sales Assistant:

The Group Sales Assistant will play a critical role in our Groups Business. Will assist the Group Sales REP with booking local and out-of-state groups, greeting and hosting arrival experience and assisting with other day to day activities, as required.  This is a full-time position requiring a organized, guest focused, assertive, self-directed person who wants to succeed. Work schedule includes early start times, long days over weekends and holidays.

Sales Coordinator:

Helps promote and sell core programming including season passes, short visit passes, and the full range of package and ancillary services.  Under the direction of the Marketing Director, coordinates trade show sales activity at offsite promotional events, Front Range temporary stores and schedules all things events throughout the season. During the winter season this role promotes sales via social marketing, CRM, snow reports, events, competitions and group activity.  Also assists with various marketing activity, guest services, rentals, groups and other sales zones.  Supports fulfillment of sales activity with ticketing, invoicing and internal communications. Helps out marketing efforts where required which may change at any time during period of employment.

Ski Patroller:  

Do you have a passion for the outdoors and skiing? Continue your adventures with Eldora Mountain Resort’s Ski Patrol!  We are looking for expert skiers who want to join our team. Applicants must have a current OEC or EMT certification/license before the start of the season. 

Our Ski Patrollers work on the mountain every day and use a wide range of skills such as: promoting safety, snow safety work, lift evacuations and assisting injured guests.

Snowmaker:

Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for hardworking individuals who have a passion for the outdoors and an adventure lifestyle to join our elite Snowmaking Team. Our Snowmakers work on the mountain, around the clock in all weather conditions to produce the highest quality snow-surfaces for our guests.

Tasks of this position include: operation of snow guns, keeping equipment clear of snow and moving equipment from trail to trail. Applicants must have the ability to safely lift, drag and/or pull over 75 lbs on a regular basis. Valid driver's license required to operate snowmobiles.

Snowcat Operator:

Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for experienced Snowcat Operators who are passionate about creating perfectly groomed slopes to join our elite team. Our Snowcat Operators work overnight preparing the slopes for our guests to enjoy groomed corduroy the next morning.

Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and be proficient with blade and tiller operations. Winch cat and terrain park building is a plus. Previous snowcat or heavy equipment experience preferred. Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Assistant Ski Patrol Director:

Eldora Mountain Resort is seeking an Assistant Ski Patrol Director to begin in late October. The Assistant Director works directly with the Ski Patrol Director and ski area management to coordinate, manage, and assist in all Ski Patrol operations including first aid, lift evacuation, avalanche control, accident investigation, budgeting, scheduling, and other Mountain Operations.

The successful candidate has a strong background in ski patrol, snow safety, administrative skills, and has a proven record of decision making and leadership.

Guest Services-Cashier:

Our guests value our service and ensuring their satisfaction is our goal.  As a Cashier you will be responsible for providing friendly service to guests while handling purchases, accepting payment and making change.  In addition, your responsibilities include: moving guests through the cash register area in a quick and efficient manner; accurate handling and counting of cash; maintaining cleanliness of cashier area; and resolving and assisting guests with any quests.

Cashiers must also have the flexibility of rotating posts to other cashiering departments as assigned.  Must have flexibility to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.

Rental Technician:

Getting guests ready to hit the slopes by having the proper equipment is essential to an enjoyable experience at Eldora.  As a Rental Technician, your duties include but are not limited to:  assisting guests with appropriate ski or snowboard equipment and outerwear rental; setting skis and snowboards.  Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.  Students (age 16-17) may work in rentals fitting boots only.

Cook:

This position is an entry level cooking position requiring a positive work ethic.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: understanding the importance of standards, speed and quality; practicing good personal hygiene, safe food handling and culinary skills and performing basic cooking tasks for the cafeteria.  Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.

Retail:

The responsibilities for this position include:  ensuring outstanding retail customer service by providing a friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging all customers, and assisting them with locating merchandise.  Other duties include but are not limited to:  generating sales, keeping current on product knowledge, completing sales utilizing POS system with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining awareness of all promotions, sales and advertising.  Cash handing experience preferable but not required.  There are full time and part opportunities available.  Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.

Lift Operator/Ticket Scanner:

The responsibilities include: executing the efficient and courteous loading and unloading of skiers and riders is essential to this position.  The position also requires shoveling and maintaining appropriate levels of snow throughout the entire lift station area.  It is also of great importance to interact with guests to ensure a positive experience, promote safety in the workplace and maintain clean and neat work stations.  Must be willing to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.   Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.

Base Operations/Parking Crew:

This position is an excellent avenue for getting to learn about the resort’s day to day operations.  Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:  guiding guests to their appropriate parking spots; cleaning common areas (tables, floor and restrooms); keeping outdoor walkways and entrances clear of snow by shoveling or using a snow blower; driving a bus to shuttle resort guests (commercial driver license not necessary).  Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.

Plow Driver:

Having a clean, snow free parking lot is key for our guests’ first impression.  We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to accomplish this.  Ideal candidates will have experience safely operating 936 loader (or similar) and a dump style truck with a blade attachment.  Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays, as well as late nights/early mornings in adverse conditions during ski season.

Snowsports Instructor:

Ski Instructors (Non-certified or PSIA certified) – If you have the knack for skiing and have the ability to teach your skills to others, WE WANT YOU as a ski instructor!  Our instructors provide quality ski lessons with a focus on safety and fun manner in both group and private lessons to children and adults of varying ability levels.  You must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season and be an intermediate to advanced skier.  

Nordic Instructor:

Nordic Instructors (Nordic & Telemark, Non-certified & PSIA certified) – Instructors ensure the best possible experience for our guests.  Responsibilities include instructing group and private lessons of varying ages and abilities; guide snowshoe tours; assist with rental gear.  Part-time positions only.  Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.

Nordic Center Assistant:

This position entails being the first point of contact for our guests at the Nordic Center.  The essential duties include, but are not limited to:  selling tickets, rentals and retail products to guests; assisting with maintenance of lodge and Nordic gear; assisting with monthly retail inventory.  Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.  Experience with Nordic skiing or retail sales is preferred.
