We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ski Patroller to become part of our Ski Patrol management team and help move us into the future. The Assistant Director works directly with ski area management and the Ski Patrol Director to coordinate, manage and assist in all Ski Parol operations including first aid, lift evacuation, avalanche control, accident investigation, budgeting, scheduling, and other Mountain Operations. The successful candiate has a srong background in Ski Patrol and Snow Safety, administrative and supervisory skills, and has a proven record of decision making and leadership. Eldora has a small core of 25 professional patrollers and approximately 50 National Ski Patrol and Paramedic Volunteers.

Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for the right candidate to fill the position of Electrical Supervisor.
As electrical supervisor, your primary responsibility will be the continued maintenance of all electrical systems of the ski lifts. You will be joining a team of enthusiastic and highly skilled lift mechanics to ensure the lifts are in the highest level of working order. Reporting directly to the Lift Maintenance Manager, you will oversee 1 or more electrician(s) in the electrical maintenance of the resort buildings as well as the lifts. Occasionally you will also be called upon to assist the lift mechanics in various projects as necessary, creating fun variety in your job description.
The nature of this position requires you to be well-rounded as an electrician. Desired disciplines include low voltage controls, motors up to 400hp, and commercial wiring. Strong troubleshooting skills are paramount for this position. PLC experience and distribution up to 25KV are a plus. Journeyman license required, Master license a plus.
Job requirements include:
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Working at heights of 70’ or more
Lifting heavy objects
Working on energized equipment up to 480V AC/DC
Working weekends and holidays during ski season
Operating snowmobiles and other vehicles (Valid drivers license required)
Time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks on the fly
Working knowledge of the National Electric Code
And above all, you must be a strong team player.
