  • IT Systems Support Specialist

Estimated Start Date:           Mid-October

Tentative Work Duration:     Thru Mid-April

Love to ski or snowboard? Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for a person to provide technical support throughout the resort so our employees can provide our guests with an exceptional day at the Mountain.  Schedule is usually Friday through Tuesday, with some Race and Holiday coverage when the resort is open to guests.

This position will work closely with end-users and the IT Manager to install, configure and maintain all data and voice systems. We're looking for someone who has experience with Windows based servers and clients (SQL, sales database, e-commerce, merchant and file servers, points of sales, windows XP, Vista and 7); experience with core network hardware including firewalls, routers, and switches; proficiency troubleshooting printers, scanners, POS systems, cameras and time clocks; extra credit for experience with Siriusware and/or PBX/IP phone systems (Mitell).

Required skillset include high school or GED diploma (Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS is preferred); minimum two years experience in support position; exceptional customer service skills; successful track record communicating with unskilled and skilled end-users; attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality. Training is possible September 14th to 19th for our Point of Sale system.

  • Snowsports School Assistant Director

The Snowsports School Assistant Director is the primary person responsible for the overall management of guest services, employee experience and the financial performance of the Snowsports School Department.  Other responsibilities and duties include: guest program development; employee recruitment; employee training & leadership coaching; indoor/outdoor facility usage; process flow; risk and safety mitigation and eductation in the lesson environment.  Duties associated to managing the Snowsports School Department may change regularly throughout the season and the SnowSports School Assistant Director may be required to work a number of other duties, including assisting other departments as needed.

The Snowsports School Assistant Director will lead three supervisors and a team of administrative and front-line snowsports instructors.  This position is based at Eldora Mountain Resort but may include working at other locations for job fairs, promotional events and AASI/PSIA/USSA/USASA activity around the region.  Scheduled work days and times will vary throughout the season, which include weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate will be a snowsports professional with a minimum of five (5) years' experience, strong youth development background in any orgaization such as AASI/PSIA/USSA/USASA, association certification or qualification, and relevant college degree preferred.

  • Ski Patrol Assistant Director

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ski Patroller to become part of our Ski Patrol management team and help move us into the future. The Assistant Director works directly with ski area management and the Ski Patrol Director to coordinate, manage and assist in all Ski Parol operations including first aid, lift evacuation, avalanche control, accident investigation, budgeting, scheduling, and other Mountain Operations. The successful candiate has a srong background in Ski Patrol and Snow Safety, administrative and supervisory skills, and has a proven record of decision making and leadership. Eldora has a small core of 25 professional patrollers and approximately 50 National Ski Patrol and Paramedic Volunteers.

  • Lift and Facilities Electrician

We are looking for an electrician who is a team player with a positive attitude. Our ideal candidate will be proficient with commercial wiring practices and code, skilled in running conduit, and has knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and basic motor contactor circuits. In addition, a knowledge of controls and strong mechanical skills are preferred. Journeyman license is strongly preferred but we're willing to assist in the attainment of license for the right candidate. Must be able to work weekends and holidays with four, 10-hour shifts during the ski season; Monday through Friday schedule during the off-season (five, 8-hour shifts).  This is a year-round position.

Must be able to provide journeyman license number (if applicable) and have basic hand tools and meters for the trade.

  • Vehicle Mechanic

We are looking for a vehicle mechanic to join our team and be part of an exciting growing resort.  Requirements include a minimum of 5 years experience working with snowcats, snowmobiles, trucks, gas and diesel engines.  Experience with compressors and pumps is also helpful.
