WOODWARD Program Manager:
Yes – Eldora will be launching a Woodward on snow program this winter along with park features that will inspire youth.
The Program Manager is responsible for making sure all goals of Woodward programming, safety, and customer services are being met through all operating seasons. This includes providing excellent customer service, exceeding our guest’s expectations, and enhancing their action sports learning experience in an atmosphere of safety, fun, and progression. The Program Manager hires, trains, and develops all Woodward coaching staff to ensure the most progressive and cutting edge coaching techniques are achieved. The Program Manager provides leadership to staff and is responsible for the accuracy, performance, and accountability of the staff as well as overall guest and employee satisfaction.
Human Resources Coordinator:
Instead of coffee breaks-how does a ski break sound? We are looking for a friendly and highly organized individual to become a part of our team as the HR Coordinator. This position reports to the HR Supervisor and is responsible for the following tasks: reviewing and processing new hire paperwork, data entry, maintenance of personnel files, understanding and communicating company policies and general employee relations. Must have good guest service and interpersonal skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Previous HR knowledge a plus but not required. Must be able to work holidays and weekends with regularly scheduled days off during the week. Essential functions of this job include: Sitting/standing for long periods of time, fine motor skills, bending and kneeling, data entry and time spent working on the computer, working in various weather conditions, lifting up to 25 pounds comfortably. This is a seasonal full-time position.
Snowsports School Supervisors:
Eldora Snowsports School is seeking several talented individuals to join the team of supervisors, to lead the Eldora brand for employee engagement and guest experience.
If you have PSIA/AASI/USSA Level 1 or greater and would like to explorer a supervisory role for either the a) Children’s Center, b) TREK and or c) Eldorables programs we have three (3) full time vacancies.
Eldora is looking for a forward thinking individual who will be prepared to focus on pre-season support of all digital content (i.e. WordPress website, Salesforce social, prep calendar social feeds, written copy, etc.), be ready to go-to-market and promote core pre-sold (i.e. season passes, short visit passes, the full range of ancillary multi-week program services, etc.) and attend trade shows. Additionally continue digital presence throughout the fall and the season. During the winter season, provide effective digital support to optimize social media and advertising to maximize visitation and profit centers. Ongoing help with social content creation, guest response activation, photography, and video shoot lists. Coordinate digital inventory to promote brand aligned content for all social channels. Marketing efforts vary and constantly change during period of employment, which requires a nimble, adaptable, and forward planning coordinator in a changing seasonal environment.
This role is based at Eldora but is required to include working at various locations including off-site marketing meetings and sales events across the Front Range. Scheduled work days and times will vary throughout the season, which include weekends and holidays. This is an hourly, 9 month position.
Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for hardworking individuals who have a passion for the outdoors and an adventure lifestyle to join our elite Snowmaking Team. Our Snowmakers work on the mountain, around the clock in all weather conditions to produce the highest quality snow-surfaces for our guests.
Tasks of this position include: operation of snow guns, keeping equipment clear of snow and moving equipment from trail to trail. Applicants must have the ability to safely lift, drag and/or pull over 75 lbs on a regular basis. Valid driver’s license required to operate snowmobiles. Previous experience a plus. Wage TBD.
Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for hardworking individuals who have a passion for the outdoors and an adventure lifestyle to join our Grooming Operations Team. Snow Groomers ensure that our guests are provided with safe and high quality skiing and snowboarding surfaces every day during the season. Each night constantly changing weather conditions create different challenges for the Snow Groomers to prepare a high quality and safe snow surfaces for the following day’s skiers and snowboarders. Eldora is looking for experienced snow cat operators with at least 2 years grooming experience. Candidate must be proficient with blade and tiller operations. Winch cat and terrain park building is a plus. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
First impressions are essential for ensuring our guests have a memorable and unforgettable experience. Having a clean, snow free parking lot is key for our guests’ first impression. We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to accomplish this. Ideal candidates will have experience safely operating 936 loader (or similar) and a dump style truck with a blade attachment. Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays, as well as late nights/early mornings in adverse conditions during ski season.
Base Operations Staff:
This position is an excellent avenue for getting to learn about the resort’s day to day operations. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: guiding guests to their appropriate parking spots; cleaning common areas (tables, floor and restrooms); keeping outdoor walkways and entrances clear of snow by shoveling or using a snow blower; driving a bus to shuttle resort guests (commercial driver license not necessary). Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
Our guests value our service and ensuring their satisfaction is our goal. As a Cashier you will be responsible for providing friendly service to guests while handling purchases, accepting payment and making change. In addition, your responsibilities include: moving guests through the cash register area in a quick and efficient manner; accurate handling and counting of cash; maintaining cleanliness of cashier area; and resolving and assisting guests with any quests.
Cashiers must also have the flexibility of rotating posts to other cashiering departments as assigned. Must have flexibility to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
Ensuring our guests have a memorable experience goes hand in hand with their safety. Executing the safe, efficient and courteous loading and unloading of skiers and riders is essential to this position. The position also requires shoveling and maintaining safe levels of snow throughout the entire lift station area. It is also of great importance to interact with guests to ensure a positive experience, promote safety in the workplace and maintain clean and neat work stations. Must be willing to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
Ski, Snowboard & Nordic Instructors (Non-certified or PSIA/AASI certified) – If you have a friendly, caring, compassionate personality, the knack for snowsports and have the ability to teach your skills to others, WE WANT YOU as an instructor! Our instructors provide quality ski lessons in a safe and fun manner in both group and private lessons to children and adults of varying ability levels. You must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season and be an intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder.
Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join our team and be a part of an exciting growing resort. Requirements include a minimum of 5 years of experience working with snowcats, snowmobiles, trucks, gas and diesel engines. Experience with compressors and pumps is also helpful. Must have own tools and be willing to work on weekends and holidays during the ski season.
Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for expert skiers and snowboarders who have a passion for the outdoors to join our team. Applicants must have a current OEC or EMT certification/license before the start of the season, which is November 18, 2016. Our Ski Patrollers work on the mountain every day and use a wide range of skills such as: promoting safety, snow safety work, lift evacuations and assisting injured guests. Employees of Eldora Mountain Resort are eligible for a free season pass as well as the ability to ski free at 14 other Colorado resorts. Position starts November 5, 2016 and ends in mid-April.
