Ski and Snowboard Instructors:
(Non-certified or PSIA certified) – If you have the knack for skiing and have the ability to teach your skills to others, WE WANT YOU as a ski instructor! Our instructors provide quality ski lessons in a safe and fun manner in both group and private lessons to children and adults of varying ability levels. You must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season and be an intermediate to advanced skier.
(Nordic & Telemark, Non-certified & PSIA certified) – Instructors ensure the best possible experience for our guests. Responsibilities include instructing group and private lessons of varying ages and abilities; guide snowshoe tours; assist with rental gear. Part-time positions only. Must have the flexibility and ability to work weekends and holidays during the ski season.
Base Area Maintenance Technician:
This position works with Base Operations department to ensure functionality and maintenance of company facilities. The right candidate must have prior Building Maintenance experience with knowledge in framing and finish carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical, drywall repair and basic commercial kitchen appliance repair. HVAC knowledge a plus, but not required. The essential job duties are: perform general maintenance; minor plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, and painting, perform basic carpentry framing and finish work for interior and exterior projects, maintain equipment and tools as needed, work on projects as the need arises, maintain a safe work environment, must be able to lift 75 lbs, ability to work from a ladder, able to climb stairs and ladders and move about all areas of the buildings easily, able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including extreme cold and snowy conditions. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to work holidays and weekends.
Eldora Mountain Resort is looking for a Seasonal Vehicle Mechanic to join our team and be a part of an exciting growing resort. Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience working with snowcats, snowmobiles, trucks, gas and diesel engines. Experience with compressors and pumps is also helpful. Must have own tools and be willing to work on weekends and holidays during the ski season. This is a seasonal full time position.
