The Heat of the Night

Wednesday nights for six consecutive weeks Eldora hosts a race series featuring Downhill, Alpine Touring Uphill, Telemark, Snowboarding, X-country Classic, X-country Skate and Snowshoe events that continues to grow in popularity.

Nordic Race Dates:  Wednesday nights between January 25th, 2017 and March 3rd 2017 (Six races total)

Alpine Race Dates:  Wednesday nights between January 25th, 2017 and March 3rd 2017 (Six races total).

  • Alpine Touring Uphill races will run weekly from February 1st, 2017 through February 22nd, 2017 (Four races total).  January  25th is a training night which provides the opportunity for racers to try the course and learn more about AT Uphill racing from experts in the field.  March 1st, 2017 will be a celebration where the King and Queen of AT Uphill Racing will be crowned!

Sign up for Nighthawks in person at the Season Pass Office at Eldora Mountain Resort or via phone by calling 303-440-8700 ext 0. Please, No same day single race registration for Alpine,  please sign up for the weekly race at least 24hrs beforehand. Nordic skiers can sign up the day of the race at the Nordic Center.

Race Results

Check-in starts @ 4:30pm in the Nordic Center or at the Race Center on Chute for Alpine Racing.

Racing starts at 6pm each night.

Alpine racers must check-in prior to heading up the course each race night.

Lesson Purchase, Terms & Conditions: Eldora multi week event sales are final, with no refunds, credits or transfers. There are NO make-up days for lessons, rentals or lift ticket vouchers for missed classes or if the resort does not operate on a scheduled days due to force majeure. Skiing is a winter sport with wonderful weather and can also involve changes to access roads, parking, slopes, lift and resort operations due to freezing temperatures, wind and strong precipitation, such as major blizzard snowfalls. Please plan accordingly, including but not limited to lesson arrival time, protective clothing choice and understanding that each day can require adjustment to schedules and protective clothing, as weather changes.
