Eldora is closed to all public access once the ski season has ended. All of the base area plus many of the ski runs are on private land and our permit with the US Forest Service does not allow for downhill skiing during non-operational times therefore there is no mountain access allowed. Please respect the landowners property and the rules of the US Forest Service, thank you for your understanding. Please visit the Nederland Area Visitor Center (4W. 1st St, Nederland, CO 80466) for recreational information about the surrounding areas.
The lifts run 9am to 4pm Monday thru Sunday.
Parking is FREE in both the main and lower lots.
We have 11 lifts. Two Quads, Two Triple, Four Doubles, One Poma, and Two Conveyor lifts.
We have 680 acres.
Base elevation 9,200 feet. Top elevation 10,800 feet.
We have 20% Greens, 50% Blues, 30% Blacks.

Warm layers with the outerwear being waterproof. Not only should your pants and jacket be waterproof but your mittens/gloves should be also. You need eye protection with either goggles or sunglasses and we recommend a helmet instead of a hat.
The RTD bus comes from the Boulder main station at 14th and Canyon. CU students/Eco pass holders ride FREE! Fare for Routes N & B is $4.50 one way. Dogs are not permitted at Eldora Mountain Resort.
Eldora does not provide an area for sledding & snowplay.
The 5th grade passport is a program sponsored by Colorado Ski Country and the participating resorts. The program gives 5th graders 3 free lift tickets to each ski area. We participate in the program. Teachers will have the forms available for their students to take home.
The Eldora Lost and Found office is located in the Season Pass office, downstairs in Timbers Lodge. Please call 303-440-8700 ex 227 to inquire if your lost item has been found, and to arrange for pickup of the item.
Non valuables and soft goods (less than a $200 value) are donated after 10 days to a local non-profit charitable agency.
Valuables (more than a $200 value) will be kept in the Lost and Found office for two weeks. After two weeks, the item will be donated to a local non-profit charitable agency.
