LEARN TO CROSS-COUNTRY SKI AT THE ELDORA NORDIC CENTER

Eldora’s Nordic Center offers personalized instruction for all ability levels in both techniques of cross-country skiing. Whether you prefer skate or classic, our talented Nordic Instructors can teach you all you need to know in a beautiful fresh air "classroom"! Choose from an hour-long private lesson available to individuals or groups (up to 5 friends and family) four times per weekday; take a 90-minute group lesson on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or holidays; or — for women and children — really hone your skills with one of our multi-week performance clinics.

Whether you want to learn how to Nordic ski for the first time from a professional instructor, participate in a training group, or bond with friends while exercising in the fresh mountain air, we have a program for cross-country skiers of all ability levels.

90 MINUTE GROUP CLASSIC OR SKATE

Beginner lessons are available 10:30 AM Monday - Sunday and 12:30 PM Saturday, Sunday, and during holiday periods. Includes trail pass and rentals. Ages 12 and up. Advance reservations required.

WOMEN'S PROGRAM

The Women's Nordic Program allows you to join a community of like-minded women and improve your cross-country skiing skills with our top-notch instructors. Break through your plateaus, build confidence, increase your courage, and improve your skills in a friendly, supportive environment.

NORDIC TREK

Our multi-week Nordic Ski School lesson program for 7-to-14-year-olds gives kids the skills they need for a lifetime of fun on snow. Sessions build progressively, developing critical skills and confidence in a friendly, supportive environment.

ONE HOUR PRIVATE CLASSIC OR SKATE LESSON

Offered daily at 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM, and on Monday through Thursday at 12:30 PM for guests of all ages & skill levels. Trail pass and rental are not included in the private lesson price.

Level Up Nordic Clinic

These three-week clinics are designed for Intermediate and advanced Nordic skiers looking to refine their technique and boost efficiency. Elevate your skills, fitness, and confidence while navigating Eldora's challenging terrain.

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS

Our instructors have extensive backgrounds in cross-country skiing, from coaching to racing, and have spent decades instructing skiers in good technique. We provide a friendly, positive environment for learning and are passionate about improving your skiing. Whether your goal is to blow by your peers in one of Colorado’s cross-country races or simply to explore new winter fitness opportunities, our skilled instructors will help get you there.
