Discover a quieter side of Eldora. Located just east of the resort’s alpine trails, the Nordic Center offers more than 30 kilometers of trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, with routes winding through forests and alpine meadows against dramatic mountain backdrops. Close to Boulder, Denver, and Colorado’s Front Range, it’s a place to find a workout, learn something new, or simply enjoy a winter day outside.

FIND YOUR WAY TO ENJOY WINTER
Cross-country skiing offers two distinct ways to explore the trails. Classic skiing uses a forward-and-back striding motion, often in parallel tracks set into the snow. Skate skiing uses a side-to-side motion on a wider groomed surface. At Eldora, you can enjoy both on our groomed Nordic trails.
Prefer to explore on snowshoes? Our snowshoe trails offer another way to experience the winter forest at your own pace. For skiers seeking a more traditional experience, our ungroomed, old-school light backcountry trails offer a different adventure from the groomed network.
MAKE THE NORDIC LODGE YOUR HOME BASE
Stop into the Nordic Lodge for rental equipment and help preparing for your day. Our on-site retail shop carries Nordic apparel and accessories, and snack and beverage options are available when you need a break.
Gear storage is not available at the Nordic Lodge.
Nearby locker options include gear lockers at Caribou Lodge and seasonal lockers in Timbers Lodge and West Wing.
